Karen June Pinsonneault

June Originals was established in 2001 by artist, Karen June Pinsonneault. Originally a native of the Midwest, Karen spent the last 30 years in Central Pennsylvania and recently relocated to Nashville, TN.  From a young age, Karen found herself visually inspired by her environment and that led to an arts degree from Indiana University.  After college, she pursued a teaching career and raised her family. Her artistic talents lead her to excel in interior, floral, and mosaic design as well as becoming an award-winning photographer. Utilizing repurposed items, Karen creates heavy acrylic paintings with a unique texture and dimensional effect. She enjoys using artifacts like glass, sand, starfish, beads, wood, anything else she finds intriguing. Each piece of art she creates is one of kind. With her background interior design and home decor, Karen also creates custom commission work for her clientele's specific desires and needs. 

Karen moved to Nashville in 2013 and is now a member of the Tennessee Art League, Tennessee Artists, and the Hendersonville Arts Council. Her work has been displayed at a number of Nashville galleries, including The Arcade and Art & Invention, as well as artisan shows like Christmas Village, City Farmhouse Pop-up Show (co-presented by Country Living Magazine), Made in Nashville, Tomato Art Festival, Cabin Fever Heyday, Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club’s “Wine & Art Night,” and December Market at Spaces: Local Fine Craft Micro-Boutiques.  Karen is overjoyed with the warm welcome she has received in Nashville and is more inspired than ever to create.
